Once on the board, the rider merely twists his or her hips back and forth in an S-shaped motion to propel down the street, with no foot propulsion required. Even better, it takes only a few minutes to learn how to ride the Ripple. Within a few hours, most riders will become proficient. And riders needn't worry about the Ripple's durability, as the platforms are made of a virtually indestructible ABS plastic, while the steel torsion bar never wears down. This "Little Rippy" version of the Ripple, which is designed for riders between the ages of 5 and 14, measures 28 by 8 by 5 inches (W x H x D), weighs 8 pounds, and carries a one-year warranty.

How to Ride the Whiplash
Place foot in the center of the back platform and position the scooter so that it is level with the ground.
Look straight ahead. Straighten your body and bend your knees slightly.
To achieve an "S" shape, move your shoulders and your hips back and forth in opposing directions. Swing your back foot repeatedly left to right and self propel your Whiplash Scooter without ever putting your foot on the ground.
